Barbara was 69 years old, 21 years in Al-Anon and married to Jack McC at the time of this talk.
She was born in 1938, Orthodox Jew from Dallas, TX from a wonderful family. Her father invented Sansabelt and the Eisenhower Jacket and became rich and moved to an upscale part of town just as Barbara was entering her early teens.
They had come from a poorer part of town. In that new neighborhood for the first time she felt different because she was Jewish.
Now she is an active member in her home group and believes everybody needs Al-Anon.
