Sober 26 years since 1/1/1995, Ann went to 28 schools as her mother moved from marriage to marriage - alcohol being a part of each one.
Ann swore she would never drink like her mother or drive her children around while intoxicated.
Ann came into AA through Al-Anon when she realized, after three failed marriages, failed business, living in church sponsored housing, that she had become much like her mother.
Still, it took months before she heard her story and finally worked the 12 steps as a design for living.
