John K of New Jersey - Speaking of his Higher Power, John said,
"Sometimes He whispers; sometimes He speaks; and sometimes he takes a two-by-four out and wops me upside the head and says, 'John you better change or you're going to die'."
Amy M of Connecticut - sober 10 years since 3/19/2005. Her 1st time at an International and 1st time speaking on a panel - ever - though she was a theater major. She got married and divorced in recovery - and that took courage - especially to admit she made a mistake.
Held on the 1st day of the convention starting at 9am in rooms A101-A103 of the World Congress Center.
