Sober 30 years since 11/13/1947, Wesley around 20 years sober was having trouble with relationships.
He thought that if these Traditions could help the relationships between a bunch of struggling alcoholics, maybe they could help him if he applied them to his own life.
It changed everything and he became passionate about delivering that message to others.
In 1970 in Miami, FL, as chair of the Host Committee for the AA International, he was called on to speak in Bill W's place Friday night.
He distinguished himself well at that event.
