Sober exactly 1 year on the day of this event, Robert had several years without drinking and went out for a one-night bender that got him convinced.
Raised in New Jersey, anger and aggression served him well at times in his first two careers but eventually failed him spectacularly as it had in several marrages.
In the end, he sought a solution in religion for a solution and found a practicing alcoholic priest who began to share his journey into recovery.
In this new design for living, he has begun to find peace and a way of responding to the world where anger and aggression are not his first tool of choice.
