Katy has been active in AA service at the group, district and area level in Georgia. She was active on the International Hosting Committee 2010 two years after this talk.
Born in New York, she is the youngest of three kids and spent most of her young life there. Her parents divorced when she was five. Her dad moved to Clayton County Georgia with his new wife. Katy split time between the two states.
She was an off the wall, into everything, socially inept kid who didn't reallly think before she acted.
Alcohol made everything "so right".
