Sober 17 years since 7/16/2006, Bobby started getting sober in treatment 35 years ago around 1999.
He got sober in Columbus, GA, was involved in the GCYPAA (Georgia Conference of Young People in AA), and stayed sober nine and a half years.
But then he stopped going to meetings, and was drinking again in two and a half years.
A breakup with a girlfriend, attempted suicide, and he was back in AA to stay.
