Jim H, sober since 12/8/1955, was a past Delegate from Alabama at the time of this talk. He is speaking at the Georgia State Service Assembly (GSSA) in May 1968. GSSA is where the business of Area 16 AA is conducted three times per year - January, May and September.
This recording was digitized in 2014 from a reel-to-reel in the GSSA Archives. It is the second assembly for which recordings are available. The earliest is September 1967. (see Waneta N on this site)
The quality is very good considering the age of the media and inexperience of the person converting the tapes - me. It is a very good message from someone deeply involved in service.
